M.O.M. MEXICO

Our Mexico Ministry works with the social services department in Tapachula to take children whose parents have been sent to prison. If a single parent goes to prison, the child lives there with them. Additionally, this government agency places a child from the streets in our program. As you can imagine, we often have children that are struggling to deal with their own issues and our behavioral expectations.

We take the children into a residential program where Mission On The Move provides all the child’s needs and provides all the child needs for school, including uniforms, homework help and tutoring. Most importantly, we teach them about Jesus Christ and disciple them in a Christian home. As our children complete high school, we encourage the youth with good grades and the right motivation to attend university. Often Mission On The Move’s team in Tapachula is the only family a child knows. At times, we foster children through the formative years of their childhood and youth, caring for them as our own.
