Kenya, Africa
The feeding program in Kenya continues to expand and grow. We have 3 ladies who volunteer to teach and cook for the children every Saturday. Praise God for their commitment to this project.
The country is again suffering due to a food shortage. During the post-election violence, people didn’t prepare their land for planting thus no crops are being grown. The government is importing corn from outside the area. More than 80% of the population relies on agriculture for their livelihood.
Because of our committed supporters we are feeding rice and beans to 50 children every Saturday. We don’t have a kitchen of our own so we are using a neighbor’s kitchen and cooking utensils.
